On September 29, we will take our worship outside the walls of our church and into our communities! On that day, we will have one worship service only (9:30a), and then our entire congregation will step out together and serve for the remainder of the morning.
We believe there is value in serving with others! For that reason, if you're already involved with a Rooted group or a small group, you'll serve with them. If you are not currently in a small group, we'll pair you with others for this project! We want every person who is planning to participate in Venture Out to fill out an RSVP so that we can plan well for this day.

September 29, starting at 9:30a! Most projects will happen between 10a-1p. There is one special project that will take place from 12:30p-5p. Your Rooted group leader will choose a project for your group and then communicate the project details to you. If you are not in a Rooted group, Shaylee Redmon (Community Pastor) will be contacting you to find a project that is a perfect fit for you. Your Venture Out t-shirt, jeans or shorts, and close-toed shoes. Wear something you don't mind getting dirty! A water bottle, a snack, sunscreen, and your charged cell phone for communication with your group. Plan to arrive at Venture around 9:15a to find your group and get settled before our short service begins. We have a group of volunteers who will stay at the church with kids under the age of 3 while projects are happening. Check-in for childcare will begin at 10a, after the short service in the auditorium. Childcare will end at 1p. Nope! The projects will not cost you any money unless you choose to purchase extra supplies for your project or donate money to the organization you serve with. If you'd like to donate supplies for Venture Out, awesome! It's not expected, but it is an option for you if you'd like to contribute. Check out the list of needed supplies here.
