This summer, Venture Kids is exploring the great outdoors! Our Summer Park series includes three local parks and then wraps up the summer season back at Venture Christian Church. This new Next Gen event will include a devotion on Creation and Science, collectable stickers, and unique park experiences such as short hikes and creeking! Grab your kids, invite a neighbor, and explore with us as we learn more about God through nature.

For those newer to Venture... maybe you've joined us for worship a few times but are wondering, "Now what?" We're glad you asked! You're invited to our Meet & Greet on the second Sunday of the month in the Children's Wing! We'll meet right after each service in the Mountain Area. This will be a very casual way for you to meet some Venture staff, families, and elders. We'd love for you to bring your kiddos, and we'll have refreshments available, too.

Worship on the Lawn is back! Mark your calendar for our next outdoor worship service this Father's Day!. Make plans to grab your lawn chair or blanket and join together for one big outdoor worship service. And there's more! Be sure to hang around afterward. We'll have lunch available for everyone after service, as well as popsicles and bounce houses for the kids.

On this Sunday, there will be only one in-person service at 10am. The nursery for babies aged 0-24 months will be available inside the building, while kids aged 2 years and above will join their parents on the lawn.

Worship on the Lawn FAQs

When & where?
Worship on the Lawn will begin at 10a on Sunday, May 29 on the south side of our campus at 14501 Hazel Dell Parkway in Carmel.

What time should I arrive?
While service begins at 10a, we encourage you to arrive around 9:30. This allows you time to set up your lawn chairs or blanket on the south lawn and to get settled in before service starts!

Where should I park?

1.Park in the main lot if you're able, and then walk through doors 1, 2, or 3 to access the south lawn.
2. If you have a disability or are a senior, we will have plenty of parking on the west side of the building. Notify the parking lot attendant as you enter that you'd like to be placed in the west lot.
3. If you plan on attending the service in your vehicle (limited space), notify the parking attendant, and you'll be directed to the gravel (mobile) lot. You'll be able to listen to the service via your FM radio.

Where will I sit?
You'll need to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. It's a big lawn, so there's lots of room to spread out.

What about the Venture App?
Download the Venture app for access to song lyrics and food truck menus. Text “Venture App” to 77977 for a direct download link or click to download from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

What should I wear?
It's outside, in the summer. Please, wear what's comfortable!

What about my kids?
Children’s programming for birth-preK will be inside the building. Head in through door 3. If your child hasn't attended Venture Kids before, you can preregister them here. Kindergarten and above will be outside with their families.

What About the Weather?
The forecast looks clear, but in case of rain, we'll move inside.
