We're inviting everyone who calls Venture home to a special night of Vision and Worship on October 1 from 6:00 - 8:00p. Join us as we celebrate our past and look ahead to our future.

You'll want to join us in person, as we'll begin with a fun interactive experience for the whole family. The evening will also include some snacks, a time of fellowship, powerful worship, and a vision message looking ahead at our future. We hope you'll leave eagerly anticipating the new life Venture has in store.

We're asking everyone to enter door #3, where we'll begin our experience. Venture Kids programming will be provided for kids birth through 6th grade, and no RSVP is required.

For those newer to Venture... maybe you've joined us for worship a few times but are wondering, "Now what?" We're glad you asked! You're invited to our Meet & Greet on the second Sunday of the month in the Children's Wing! We'll meet right after each service in the Mountain Area. This will be a very casual way for you to meet some Venture staff, families, and elders. We'd love for you to bring your kiddos, and we'll have refreshments available, too. 

Worship on the Lawn is back! Mark your calendar for our next outdoor worship service on October 8! Make plans to grab your lawn chair or blanket and join together for one big outdoor worship service.

On this Sunday, there will be only one in-person service at 10am. The nursery for babies aged 0-24 months will be available inside the building, while kids aged 2 years and above will join their parents on the lawn.

Worship on the Lawn FAQs

When & where?
Worship on the Lawn will begin at 10a on Sunday, October 8 on the south side of our campus at 14501 Hazel Dell Parkway in Carmel.

What time should I arrive?
While service begins at 10a, we encourage you to arrive around 9:30. This allows you time to set up your lawn chairs or blanket on the south lawn and to get settled in before service starts!

Where should I park?

1. Park in the main lot if you're able, and then walk through doors 1, 2, or 3 to access the south lawn.
2. If you have a disability or are a senior, we will have plenty of parking on the west side of the building. Notify the parking lot attendant as you enter that you'd like to be placed in the west lot.
3. If you plan on attending the service in your vehicle (limited space), notify the parking attendant, and you'll be directed to the gravel (mobile) lot. You'll be able to listen to the service via your FM radio.

Where will I sit?
You'll need to bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. It's a big lawn, so there's lots of room to spread out.

What about the Venture App?

What should I wear?
It's outside, in the fall. Please, wear what's comfortable!

What about my kids?
The nursery for babies aged 0-24 months will be available inside the building, while kids aged 2 years and above will join their parents on the lawn.

What About the Weather?
The forecast looks clear, but in case of rain, we'll move inside.

Mark your calendars for Trunk or Treat on October 29th from 4:30-6pm! Your family can collect candy at a variety of themed trunks as you "trunk or treat" your way through a fun afternoon! We encourage the whole family to wear their best costumes, bring a bucket for your candy, and invite your neighbor! 

After serving at Trunk or Treat on October 29, we'll have a Venture Students Halloween Party in the Student Center! From 6-8p, students and their friends are welcome to come play games, enter our costume contest, and of course, eat lots of yummy food!

Junior high and high school students are invited to join us for the Venture Students Christmas Party on December 17 from 6-8p. The first hour will be spent celebrating in small groups; then we'll spend the second hour in the Student Center playing games, judging our Ugly Sweater Contest, and eating yummy snacks!
