All About That Baby: Preview Meeting

Venture Kids Christmas Program is returning on December 10th! We invite all children in Kindergarten-6th grade to join our cast in "All About That Baby" to help tell the musical tale of the classic nativity story with a twist from the perspective of the shepherds and sheep. All children who are interested may come and join us for a Preview Day on September 24th in the 1:4 Room. This will be immediately after church from 12:15-1:00p. A light lunch will be provided for the children. We will watch a production of the show and hand out more information on rehearsals, optional auditions, and the performance evening itself. We have a place in the program for everyone! This will be a memory making moment for your child and your family this Christmas season.

What does a commitment look like?  Most rehearsals will be on Sunday afternoons from 4:30-6p with a dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 9th at 2p. We ask that all students who are in the show try to be at as many rehearsals as possible; however, we do not want this to keep a child from participating if they would like to. Please reach out to Joy Fehl if you have any questions on rehearsal commitments. 

What about my little ones? 2 to 5-year-olds (not in Kindergarten) will have an opportunity to participate in the program, as well! They will be learning songs on Sunday mornings to help open our Christmas program with ultimate cuteness! They will have the opportunity to attend one or two practices with the rest of the cast including the dress rehearsal. They do not need to attend Preview Night. We will make sure parents have access to the songs they will be learning, and we ask that you practice at home as you can.
