Connection Point

Are you newer to Venture or wanting to learn more about the church? You're invited to join us for Connection Point, a three-week experience where you'll learn more about Venture and how you can connect in a variety of ways.

Join us Sunday, August 17 at 9:30am in the Student Center for our third installment of our Parenting Game Plan. This time it’s just a relaxed morning with light breakfast, beverages (yes—coffee too!), and good company. This is a chance for parents to catch their breath, connect with friends, and meet other moms and dads in our Venture Kids and Student Ministries. Think of it as a coffee meet-up with an old friend and no distractions.

Battle of the Classes is our rebranded Field Day event from years past! The middle schoolers will have their own separate Field Day, so it's time to spice it up for the high school students.

All 9th - 12th graders are invited to participate in this event on August 17. Battle of the Classes includes outdoor field games, strategy and intense competition to see who has bragging rights for the rest of the year as the 'Best Class'.

Bring clothes you can sweat and get dirty in, as well as a towel, just in case you need to rinse off...

On August 24, we will take our worship outside the walls of our church and into our communities! On that day, we will have one worship service only (9:00a), and then our entire congregation will step out together and serve for the remainder of the morning. This will be a day to worship God not just with our voices, but with our hands and hearts! Whether you’re planting flowers, packing meals, or painting walls, every act of service is an act of worship. We are excited to Venture Out together!

Worship on the Lawn is back! Mark your calendar for August 31 and make plans to join us for one big outdoor worship service at 11:00a. Be sure to stick around after service, as we enjoy lunch together. We will provide meat and the basics, but feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share if you would like!
