Worship on the Lawn is back! Mark your calendar for August 31 and make plans to join us for one big outdoor worship service at 11:00a. Bring a lawn chair and worship with us!

Be sure to stick around after service, as we enjoy lunch together. We will provide meat and the basics, but feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share if you would like. There will be electricity and refrigeration available. If you are bringing food, drop it off on the patio outside our food pantry before the service begins!

Kids programming will not be available, but kids of all ages are invited to join us as we worship.

If you are looking for a great way to connect with other Venture people or you just want to have fun bowling (regardless of skill level), then our bowling league is for you. This is a non-competitive league for adults 16 and up! We meet every other Saturday at 6p starting September 13 at Woodland Bowl. You can build a team of 4, or we'll place you on one. We would love to have you!

Cost: $17/week per bowler.

For those newer to Venture... maybe you've joined us for worship a few times but are wondering, "Now what?" We're glad you asked! You're invited to our Meet & Greet on the second Sunday of every month. We'll gather right after each service at the front of the auditorium by the baptistry. It’s a casual time to meet some leaders from Venture, ask any questions you may have, and connect more fully with some of the people who make our church special. Feel free to bring your kids. We can’t wait to see you!

We are eager to once again experience a Spiritual Growth Journey this fall! Beginning September 14, our entire church will be challenged to grow within the area of prayer. If you are not currently in a Venture Group, we're encouraging you to join one during this six-week experience. Your group will be a place where you can talk about your experience, give encouragement, and challenge each other to grow in our prayer lives. Whether this is your first Venture Group experience or you’ve known your group for years, this is an irreplaceable part of the study. The accompanying book will be provided at no cost by your Venture Group leader.

• two bags of groceries (per typical family) - non-perishable canned and boxed foods, toilet paper, paper towels
• fresh produce - potatoes, apples, carrots, assorted greens, and other items as available

For those newer to Venture... maybe you've joined us for worship a few times but are wondering, "Now what?" We're glad you asked! You're invited to our Meet & Greet on the second Sunday of every month. We'll gather right after each service at the front of the auditorium by the baptistry. It’s a casual time to meet some leaders from Venture, ask any questions you may have, and connect more fully with some of the people who make our church special. Feel free to bring your kids.
