MIX is a fun, high energy, four-day summer event specifically designed for students in seventh and eighth grade. It is intentionally crafted to engage middle school students through tactile, interactive and fun activities coupled with Bible-based teaching and small group interaction.

What should I pack?

Use this list to help you pack!
Students should also pack a nice outfit for dress up night on Thursday. Please note: this is a tradition for our students, not all of MIX will be dressed up.

How much money should I bring?

You won't need to pay for anything while we are at MIX unless you choose to purchase merch from the CIY store!

Who will I room with?

We will assign students their room when we arrive to our dorm location. Students may request to room with specific people on the registration form. If you are concerned about who your student will room with, please contact our Student Pastor, Jake Smith at

What should I do with my medications?

All over the counter meds and prescriptions need to be turned in at the time of event check in. Students will not be allowed to keep their own medications. All medications will be recorded at check in for our leaders to refer to throughout the week. Medications will then be placed in a clear plastic tote. Please make sure medications are clearly marked and directions are provided on the container. We will not have a registered nurse with us, so please make this as easy as possible for our leaders to administer!

 8:00a | Load up
