Super Bowl Sunday Food Pack
Leader: Shaylee Redmon |
Time: 9:30am – Noon
During our regular service times at 9:30 & 11:00 on Sunday, February 8, we are excited to hold an IDES Food Pack as a church family! Stan will give a shortened message while we serve others. This is a great opportunity to worship in a different way with friends and family! Students will join us in the Auditorium (no Elevate that morning), and children will have their regular programming. In order to help us plan table spaces to the best of our ability, please fill out this sign-up form to let us know you plan on coming!

We will be standing (and moving around) for the full service. If you need a seated serving position, please let us know on your pre-registration form, and also let an usher know when you arrive. We will have extra chairs set up around the perimeter of the Auditorium in case someone needs a moment to sit. We will still hold services at our regular times (9:30a and 11a). Attendees at each service will participate in a 30-40 minute food pack, which is the central focus of the service. Stan will wrap up our current series (Weeds in My Garden), but we will not be having “normal” services on this day. We will be preparing GAP meals with IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services) to send to those in crisis all over the world. Instructions will be provided in service. You do not need to know how to do this before arriving, and we will have all the supplies you need. When you arrive, feel free to get your coffee and mingle as normal. As you enter the Auditorium, make sure each person in your group receives an NFL team sticker from one of our ushers. This sticker is your assigned “team” for the day! There will be exactly 10 people on each team. 4 positions on each team are seated positions. If you need a seated position, please let the usher know. Kids in 6th grade and up are invited to join the food pack. During the pack, Stan will lead us in a guided discussion to wrap up our mental health series. For this reason, we ask that kids ages 5th grade and below participate in normal Sunday morning programming.
