Baptism

Baptism has been asked of each disciple of Jesus.
Baptism identifies us with Jesus.
Baptism is a mark of unity with Jesus and with other members of God’s family.
Baptism offers an assurance of salvation.
Baptism is a continuation and fulfillment of Old Testament symbolism that marked the people of God.

When combined with faith and repentance, baptism brings these promises: forgiveness of sins, the gift of the Holy Spirit, the fruit of the Spirit, the washing away of sin, and salvation and a clean conscience.

Members of the Venture covenant family are those who have pledged allegiance to following Jesus as King, who have put their faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son and Savior (the Deliverer of all who confess him), who have repented of their sins, and who have been baptized into Christ.
